Optics – Prescription lenses

 160 255

You can add prescription lenses to your Pilot Sunglasses. It is an additional optical lens that is mounted on the inside of the sunglass lens. It works perfectly with a bifocal sunglass lens as per your prescription.

We add a high quality optical single vision lens with high index 1,61 or (1,74 above +/- 2,5) on the inside of the frame. This allows you to correct your vision as well as making use of the sunglass lens as the cover to protect you from the sun and give comfort to the eye. Both lenses works perfectly together, even with a bifocal lens which is as per your eyeglass prescription where it says “Add” or addition for age related vision (Presbyopia).

Just take a picture of your eyeglass prescription with your phone/camera and upload to your order.

PILOT OPTICS

It is possible to add an optical lens as per your prescription by means of additional glass on the inside of the frame. This works perfectly together with the bifocal area. The added optical lenses are mounted on the inside and it is easy to remove the sunglass lens for cleaning purpose or you can even change the outer sunglass lens if needed without adding new optical lenses.

The optical lens is a high index lens for any type of eyesight correction.
