WHY YOU NEED BIFOCALS? As we age we begin to notice that the eyesight is not what it once was. In the 40-45 age range the focusing lens in the eye, the crystalline lens, tends to be less elastic. This means that the eye is less able to adjust to seeing at different distances.
For a person with normal vision it will be harder to focus at close range while distance vision remains satisfactory. This natural change is called presbyopia and affects all of us sooner or later. However this can be corrected by using reading glasses or glasses with bifocal lenses.
Our range of bifocal glasses contain reading lenses from +0.0 +1.0 +1.5 +2.0 and +2.5. If you need reading lenses above +2.5, we recommend you visit an optician.
With Pilot bifocal sunglasses you get all the features of high quality sunglasses together with a pair of reading glasses in the strength you need.
